I have written a couple of books, some stories and a few articles. Some have actually been published! Sit back, relax, and take a read.

Feedback, Suggestions, Criticism or Kudos are most welcome!

My most recent writings are on top, if you want to read chronologically, start at the bottom.

Blue Ball - A children's picture book. Blue Ball begins his day like any other. However, when he decides to go to the park after school, Blue Ball's day becomes much more interesting. A human boy bats him high into the sky and he lands in the top of a very tall tree. What will Blue Ball do now?

Masks - Sometimes getting closer with your children and friends takes an electric outage.

Bus Serenade - Mexico public transportation and the entertainment thereof. Published in the February 2016 issue of the Ojo del Lago magazine.

Birth of an Avocado - From seedling to tall tree, the first avocado! Published in the December 2015 issue of the Ojo del Lago magazine.

Colors in the City, The Street Murals - Published in the August 2015 issue of the Ojo del Lago magazine. On a wayward bus ride through the city, my husband and I ended up on a tour of the street murals.

The Gringa Files - This book is a compilation of some of the articles and stories you have been reading and more! It is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. This book was published through my company Xyziin Publications.

The Roads - Published in the December 2014 issue of "El Ojo de Lago" magazine. Some of the experiences during the drive from Gualala, CA to Zapopan, JAL, Mexico.

Top 5 Start-up Videos - Researching and Writing - An article about deadlines, research, and original writing. Published on the Xyziin Publications blog.

The Cowbell Trash Truck - Published in the November 2014 issue of "El Ojo de Lago" magazine. About the cultural differences in something you wouldn't even think about...trash management.

The Street Dogs - Published in the August 2014 issue of "El Ojo de Lago" magazine. Different sizes, different breeds, you see them trotting in packs or sometimes alone, but they all have that same desperate look about them. The street dogs are wary, dirty, and smart.

The Pedestrians - Published in the June 2014 issue of "El Ojo de Lago" magazine. My awareness and love of the Mexican culture is growing. I have had to adjust to my new environment through observation and quick reflexes.

The Taxi Driver - While living in California, I have traveled by taxi in Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, and none of those rides can compare to the taxis here in Guadalajara.

The Windshield Washers - Published in the April 2014 issue of "El Ojo de Lago" magazine. Driving through Mexico, you meet many people who work in and amongst traffic.  This is about one unusual windshield washer.

The Blind Knife Sharpener - Published in the March 2014 issue of "El Ojo de Lago" (Eye of the Lake) magazine. I love living here in Mexico. There are always sounds in our neighborhood to announce one thing or another. I especially like the "knife sharpener's" whistle.

My Soldier, My Man - This article was published in the Fall 2013 issue of Vietnam Veterans Against the War newsletter under the title, "I Love this Man, My Soldier." The observations of the fiancée of a Vietnam Veteran. His struggle with the physical and emotional damage done during that war and his struggle with the Veteran's Administration after his tour of duty.
